This game is very fun! I really like guitar hero for PS3, and now to be able to pay it on D.S is awesome! The only thing I don’t like about it is that sometimes the controller comes out of the plug in thing and then you have to restart.

This controller works just fine for gameplay. However, I do have two complaints. The main one is that this is made wider than the standard Guitar Hero controller, so it will completely cover up the headphone jack. Since it sits flush with the DS, that means that this one has to be played through the DS speakers only. The second problem is that it does not sit firmly inside the GBA slot. What that means is that, as you play, it may wiggle around a bit and slightly loosen itself out of its connection. I have not had issues with it actually losing contact but I do push it back in slightly every song or so.
In conclusion, I recommend looking around for something that more closely resembles the original Guitar Hero controller.
